Chapter 75: Comparisons

Shawn POV

"You okay there?" Perseus asked

"Yeah, why?"

We're currently at lunch and we've got past the first half of the morning without any hitch, a lot of chatter was being made though. We usually would eat at home anyway, but apparently, most of our things have been cleared due to some of the staff believing that we will never make it back home in time, most of the possessions we brought were okay, but food and all the other stuff we bought here weren't.

"You know, the gossip of comparing you to me? You aren't feeling resentment built up and you now want to kill me and rule the world or something?" he asked.

"What kind of guy do you think I am?"

"It always starts off with denial, you know."

"That's grief, you dumb idiot."

I then see Diana and her 2 roommates, the same ones who invited us to join the group in search of the grimoire, hopefully, they got more info than we did, all we got was confirmation, and they can use their family connections to get more info than we did.
