Chapter 154: Blocking

Both Ash and Max waited in the queue until they reached the table where each of them stood in front of some others who were in charge of handing out the money to each fighter who participated.

Each fighter would be rewarded based on their result in the fights and how important of a fight they participated in.

If they started earlier in the event then the pay would be much lower while those who participated later would be paid much more.

Ash had been among the earlier participants but she had won so her calculated amount of pay for participation in the fights would still be at an acceptable level that could be worth all that she had done.

Those on the losing side would barely be able to cover their hospital or treatment costs with what they earned if they were among the early participants.
