ARES’S POV

This was possibly going to be the worst night of my life. Somehow, I convinced Christina that attending this banquet was a good idea. I couldn’t blame her entirely though, I had to admit that the driving force behind me attending tonight was hoping that I’d get to once again meet Fredrick’s captivating daughter.

I’m not the man who generally fantasizes about women let alone a singular woman and yet from the moment I laid eyes on her I couldn’t get her out of my mind. What agitated me more was that I didn’t even know her name. She was a nameless vixen and that didn’t sit well with me. I had to know her name and I was a man who always gets what he wants.

“Slap a smile on your face, people are watching,” Christina whispered to me.
