Chapter 7: IDEA, MONEY AND GARLIC
********At Elias house after school***********
"What would an unprincipled person in my situation to earn more money, for all I can tell I'm not sure if I'll go back to my part time work, i mean people hardly visits, Let's see...(thinks for a while) yes, I'll gamble my strength.
Elias brought out a stand post which says ★Earn money by testing your strength★, he planes to create an arm wrestling stand where people would make a bet to arm wrestle with him, the winner of the bet would take the money.
He quickly set the post in front of his house, as he pushed his overcoat slightly behind his chest to reveal even more of his strong looking physique. Just then two muscular looking men with tanned skin taking a stroll in the streets when one of them spotted the poster stand, he laughed tapping his friend showing him, They both laughed as they decided to have some fun and also free money.
"Welcome to my little business of arm wrestling, would two of you like to go at once, or one at a time. The minimum fee for one person is 200$, while for two is 350$, based on the amount you pay you get a bonus when you win." Elias said with a cool and calm voice.
"Hehe, an arrogant one eh, he's two full of himself, I'll go first, I bet a thousand bucks" The older man. He dropped one thousand dollars on the table as he placed his elbow on the pad that was placed on the table, Elias reached for the money and placed it into his bowl.
"Why did you take the money, to save your self the trouble you should just give me the money and my bonus right now after all we both know I'm going to win." The man said with confidence written all over his face as Elias just let out a wry smile saying he should wait till when the match was over.
Elias placed his elbow on the pad as they both held each other's hand firmly with a tight grip. The expression on the man's face soon changed to a confused one, at first when he held Elias palm he felt like he could instantly break it if he wanted to, but when Elias hand griped his, he felt like his hand was placed between an hydraulic press, "you could start pushing now" Elias said with a calm face as the muscular man became confused as he was already pushing with all his force, evidents could be seen as the veins of the man were all popped out.
"What's it bro, why you toying with him" The other man said as the man doing the wrestle let out a groan as is wrist had dislocated, Elias spared no time to achieve victory instantly slamming the hand of the man on top the table which then had a crack on it. "Wow, I guess I won." Elias said asking the other man to come, this one could be seen laughing at the other.
"I'll let you know that I'm not my brother, I'm better at everything than him, watch and learn, big bro." The man said with pride dropping two thousand dollars on the table as he got into the arm wrestling position, Elias had a plan in mind to make things a little fun, meanwhile people had already gathered around out of shock and curiosity.
The arm wrestling started off with a good start for the muscular man, who seemed to be oppressing Elias, Elias put on a face of effort, as he forcefully popped all the veins in his hand making it feel as if he was struggling.
"But how?" The elder bro said with an even more confused state seeing that his junior brother was winning. "Ahhh!, you broke my bone." Elias said with his hands few mili meters from the table, The muscular man laughed maniacally saying that was hat he got for having a weak bone and that he was not even putting any effort.
"Is that so." Elias said raising his hand back to the center suppressing everybody. As at that point they both seemed to be putting their full effort, suddenly Elias started laughing and this made the man to ask why he was laughing. "Oh it's nothing, it's just that when I had closed my eyes for a bit I thought I was wrestling with a fly." Everybody became confused as the man asked what he meant by that but just then a huge bang was heard , every body let out a wowing sound as they were surprised that a high school boy was able to easily defeat this two muscle bags with ease.
Elias bided them farewell as he closed the stand seeing he didn't want to draw too much attention for himself, he went inside his house with a smile as he had made the amount of money he could have never made in a year with the salary made by the part time job, and he did that in just one hour.
Elias decided to continue to read about the vampires after a while he decided to eat something since since he's only been eating light food, he ordered for something appetizing which caused him hundred dollars, this was something he could have never done before, buying a single meal for a hundred bucks.
Elias sat on the couch as he started to chew down his food, after taking the first bite he immediately felt a sharp pain on his chest, it was more painful than anything he had ever felt, he soon check the content of the food and saw that it included garlic and one of the things vampire must not consume was garlic.
