With a piercing look, Diana kept her eyes like a pointy knife towards Yohan, sending shivers down his spine. If it was a glare of anger or disappointment, Yohan could have handled it or shrugged it off, but it had a vibe of sensuousness, which unsettled him.
"Ahem! What happened? Why are you looking at me... like that?" Yohan stammered and asked, trying his best to look straight and converse calmly. But Diana instead of answering, moved closer to Yohan, cornering him.
"Hey!"
"What? I just wanna take a look at those files. I can't see it from there—"
"Yeah, sure. Please take it. Look at it, by yourself—"
"I want to take a look at it... but with you." Diana, with an eerily looking smile, said.
Diana was always known as the sultry queen who could play both the tormenting interrogator and a swooning seductress, effortlessly. No living men, women had resisted her charms, but Yohan always remained a curious case.
"Hmm... No thanks. I... Can you stop it? Why are you rubbing my thighs?" Yohan moved Diana's approaching pointy-nailed fingers, away from his thighs, using the folders as the fork.
"You know... I was always been curious about this ONE... Thing." She poured all the sweet, sexy sauce into the tone of the words, talking at a whispery volume.
"About what?"
"Hmmmmmm... If he was given a CHANCE. Will the great Uncrowned King ever sleep with the Vampire Princess?... That one."
Yohan, as he soon heard that, felt his jaws hitting the floor. He tried to laugh it off and move, but Diana moved an inch closer and tightly cornered Yohan to the window, letting her chest be in close proximity to his elbow. Poor Yohan felt suffocated and his hormones betrayed him as well.
"Sleep in what sense?"
"The usual one... The FUCKing. I can allow you to fuck me—"
"Nah, I'm good!"
Smiling to herself in a devilish fashion, Diana forcibly punched the limits and completely pushed herself towards Yohan, crushing her bosoms against Yohan's arm.
"Give it a thought... It's not that bad."
"You can ask that to the Uncrowned King, but as Yohan, I would actually refuse that offer—"
"But it's just ONE NIGHT... You can forget it like a fever dream and move on to the next day. I'll continue hating you, and you can continue running away from the Underworld. It's not like I'm asking you to marry me or anything. Consider that I'm trying to do a favour for you... You may not live to see the next day. So, why just not use me, and lose your 'V' card?"
Both the offer and her voice sounded extremely tempting and peppered with sultry honey. And Yohan, a mere mortal, felt his brain getting dizzy and heaved long sighs, listening to her. For a second, he thought of letting himself succumb to her allure. But the pain of the past scarred him badly enough for him to remain straight.
Giving a sad smile, Yohan uttered,
"Thank You, But No Thanks. I'll rather die as a virgin..."
The tense-filled atmosphere died a brutal death, and whatever remained of it was cold-hearted silence and frustration.
Diana frowned, and mildly chuckled, backing off from Yohan. She nodded to herself and tightly shut her eyelids, resting her head on the headrest.
"Seems like you hate me more than I hate you..." she said, smiling. But her voice was devoid of joy and sounded more like she was longing for something. Something that Yohan could give.
"Let's say I have enough scars given by you. And I'm not ready for another one—"
"Will it heal, if I apologise?"
"I don't think so."
And with that answer from her ex-fiancee, Diana minded her own business, holding a sinking feeling in her heart. Then together, they travelled together to the 'Armoury Cave'.

Jumping into the untied robe, Catherine walked along the empty hallways of her hotel, barely clad with a masked yet naked man following after religiously; the same stranger who met the Ghost Whisperer.
"Adam... So, heard anything from the whisperer?" she asked, as they reached for the elevator.
The masked man, Adam, shook his head, negatively. "He just yells at our men to get all the way from his back. Says, he knows what he's doing."
Hearing the relayed message, Catherine sighed and pouted. "Well, I can't wait... I hope he lives up to his name... That motherfucker!"
Catherine gritted her teeth, rubbing her throat, reminded of the time she met the Ghost Whisperer for the first time.
She felt herself under the mercy of the seven-foot man, with silver long hair and a wrinkled face. But despite his age, the whisperer looked ripped as a bull and his shredded big shoulders almost fulfilled their duty of crushing Catherine's windpipe. But the Whisperer dropped her at the last second.
'Don't order me, sweetheart... I'm not exactly a gentleman. Might crush your head next time...'
The words rang like a haunting melody inside Catherine, who took a deep sigh and cracked her knuckles.
"ADAM!"
Hearing his boss in a serious tone, Adam nodded immediately, ready to do anything. "Yes, Mademoiselle!"
"Arrange some top-tier freelance assassins... Offer our girls as payment. I want both the Whisperer and Yohan down tonight!"
Sorry for the short chapter... The initially planned brutal action sequence ate up a lot of words, hence I decided to split the chapter, saving the sequence for the next chapter. Stay tuned.

Together, Diana and Yohan reached the 'armoury', a simple small shop located among the busy streets of the 'Market', an enclosed underground colony of shops that exists only for the Underworld citizens and the Underworld's customers.
"Do you still have the license for using the 'Armoury'??" asked Diana, as she slowly strolled, seeing whether the names of the shops she's been crossing were matching with the card on her hand. Because she never visited any local Assassin shops by herself, as she was used to merely ordering her servants and minions.
Yohan noticed it and grievingly sighed, shaking his head.
"If you can't find it on your own, you can just ask your men to find them, right?"
Diana chuckled at Yohan's suggestion and smiled towards him. "I proudly declared to them, that I'll find you and murder you. Like you should have seen the erupted claps and war cries... Now roaming around with you like a cutesy cat, will... cause some hit to their morale—"
"Cutesy Cat? CUTE?"
"Yeaaah... Why, not? Am I not cute? The last guy who fucked me, said I'm cute—"
"How about a cunning crocodile? That fits the bill. Who can be more cunning than you?"
"Well... Jokes on you. That name actually turns me on..."
"Yeah—Wait! Oh... Damn. I'll refrain from talking." Yohan felt choked out of words and Diana chuckled on seeing him getting weirded out.
Yohan could see the dwellers of the Underworld being in their natural 'Unspeakable' form as they had no need to hide under their human disguises any longer, in that small world they built for themselves. The humanoid wolves and amphibians, naked succubuses, and half-deads, all of them cast suspicious gazes upon Yohan and Diana, who appeared human, standing out from others. Despite being aware of Diana's status as a vampire princess, they couldn't help but feel a sense of unease regarding her desire to maintain a human appearance.
Diana smiled, and in a flinch turned her skin greyish and pale, transforming into her vampire form. Unlike other Unspeakables, Diana never had any trouble juggling between her human appearance and vampire appearance, as they hardly were different except for the skin colour changes.
But still, a muscular amphibian blocked her way. With big fish-like eyes and blueish skin, a big fin behind his head and small wings on his arms and legs, the man looked more fish than any fish in the sea.
"Greetings, Miss Vampire Princess... But I'm sorry to inform you that others are finding it as an insult that you..." he paused, staring at the disgusting creature in his eyes, Yohan. The blueish skin, turned red, implying his anger, and his restrain in controlling it, let a green tint shine on his eyes.
"He's an underworld dweller too, gentleman... Stop staring at him, otherwise, I'll pluck your eyes out," She calmly threatened him. Sneering to himself, the amphibian guard turned his attention back to Diana.
"We would like you to embrace your heritage! Please shed the human appearance..." he said, with the most diplomatic tone, Diana ever heard.
Diana let out a sigh of excitement and turned towards Yohan, giving him a sly smile. Yohan frowned, furrowing his brows, trying to read between the lines. But Diana's sly smile did ring a few danger bells inside him. He could even hear her heart pounding like a ticking clock, and he wondered why.
Giving no more thought about the Guard's demands, Diana happily dropped her sleeveless, black gown, on the floor, thus shedding her remaining human appearance and revealing her naked body to Yohan and other Unspeakables. The others quickly nodded and the guard let Diana pass through, but he still kept staring at Yohan.
"I'm not going to strip, bro..."
"No need, human." The guard spited him and moved away returning to his position to guard.
Diana pouted in a sexy way looking at Yohan to which Yohan had no answers. He understood that Diana expecting some comments, but Yohan wanted to shrug the whole moment off from his conscious.
"I am not going to say anything... And I saw you naked just a few days ago."
"Yeah, but for the most part, you were blindfolded—"
"I'm wearing glasses for fuck's sake. It doesn't make a lot of difference..."
"I have a mole on my hip. And I have round boobs—"
"Jesus, I KNOW! I mean, yeah, I can see, but not in the way you think..." Yohan raised his voice, getting red all over his face.
Diana smiled and chuckled, saying "I know. I'm just pulling your leg... Come on, let's find the shop, quickly."
And finally, after wasting a few minutes looking for the shop, Diana led Yohan to a mysterious red door situated at the last of the row where the lights were flickering and populated by floating clouds of fog.
"Take my hand... I'll guide you," Diana offered Yohan owing to his visual disability, but Yohan declined, maintaining his animosity toward her advances intact. Diana took it easy as well, as she loved the idea of playing with him a lot and embraced the joy she felt.
Strolling through the fog, Diana opened the red door, and both Yohana and Diana, found themselves in a rusted old shop, filled with age-old tech, blueprints, 3D models of weapons that were never developed or stopped in their mid-development, hundreds of racks containing books, files and tiny boxes.
Yohan could smell the oil, grease and natural aroma of metals in the library-like room, evoking a smile on his face. He ran his fingers across the dust-filled machinery and unfinished weapons and cherished the sole silver lining of his childhood.
"This is Grandpa Charlie's godown, isn't it?" he asked, to which Diana gasped and turned back to him, blushing.
"You remember?"
"Kinda... I used to play here. Probably the only place—"
"WE! WE used to play... Like when you were four and I was six. You were crying, cause no one wanted to play with you... Remember who accompanied you?"
Yohan, on hearing that from Diana, slowly nodded, as the waves of memories splashed one by one on his face. He dropped his chin down and took a long breath, as the memory made him both sad and happy at the same time.
"I prefer not talking about this, Miss Diana..."
"Why not?" Diana slowly turned back to her human form, as she walked closer and closer to Yohan, unnerving him. Some 'strong' thoughts blinded Diana for the moment and she merely acted as per her raw instincts and thorn-ridden heart. Her true self wanted some salvation that night and that craving motivated her to do things in unimaginable ways.
"I think we should have a decent distance between us—" Within he get to finish, Yohan was grabbed and pulled close by Diana who only had one thought in her mind.
Her eyes looked at him like it was going to swallow him whole. And Yohan felt that piercing gaze running down his bones. He shivered and tried to free himself from her hold, but Diana didn't budge.
"I thought about this long and long and long and looong enough... What would it be like, if I ever fucked you?"
"Ah... What?"
"I always hated you, but I can't help but... but to imagine that... How would I feel if suck your—"
"NO! Look... we can talk later. We came here with a job in mind, okay? Let's concentrate on that—"
"Concentrate on me! Why is it hard for you?"
Yohan saw something and felt something from Diana that he never saw or felt right from they met as children.
*SHUNK!*
Yohan instinctively pushed Diana away, as a sharp golden knife passed through them, missing them at the last second.
*THUD* *THUD*
Diana fell down on her face and Yohan slipped his footing and dropped on the floor, knelt on his left knee.
Suddenly Yohan picked up the concealed smell of blood in the room and his eyes turned serious and sharp.
"Diana, who maintains this place?"
"Charlie's grandson, why?"
And within seconds, even Diana picked up the blood's scent and realized that someone was lying in a pool of blood in the room.
Dashing away like a lightning bolt, Diana vanished from her spot and traced the track of the blood's scent, searching for the person who was bleeding out at an alarming level.
Yohan carefully looked around the surroundings and observed the faint sounds of footsteps and the small noises of someone snickering behind the mountain of rakes.
*SHUNK!!!*
Another golden knife, appeared from nowhere, curving through the air and reaching for Yohan. But this time, Yohan without even flinching grabbed the circling knife between his index fingers and let out a small sigh.
"So... who are you? Anything needed from me?" he asked, as he walked around, looking out for other knives and footsteps.
"They were right, kiddo! She was right... You do possess some clean skills—"
"It's a 'she'? So, I guess, it must be Catherine, right?"
"Bang on! haha," the snickering voice of the mystery man grew loud. Though Yohan heard the voice aloud, he simply couldn't locate the man, as the voice echoed and appeared from various corners of the room.
On the other hand, Diana reached the bleeding man and it took no time for her to realize that it was none other than Charlie's grandson, Falooda after all. She literally cursed herself and screamed, for the unfortunate.
"Fal! Fal! Wake up, dude... Come on!" she tried to pull back the fading consciousness of Falood by speaking to him and keeping him active, but once she saw his face fully, her nerves shuddered like a collapsing building.
"No FUCKING WAY!!"
Falooda's face looked exactly the same way as the victims of the folders who were murdered by an unauthorized assassin - The forced smile on the face, paralyzed; which means, that whoever was fighting with Yohan currently, must be the same unauthorized assassin.
"The Ghost Whisperer..."
--
*SHUNK!*
From the knife that Yohan had caught, a needle unexpectedly materialized, pricking his fingers and causing a sharp sting. As a reflex, Yohan dropped it and shook his hands, trying to shake off the stinging small pain. But he didn't realize the grave plan lying underneath it.
"Well done, my boy... So, you are special, but ain't sharp, I guess..." A tall, muscular man with silver hair, emerged from the shadows, clapping his hands, showing his appreciation, while also bringing his intimidating appearance along with a victory grin. He sported a professional assassin look, dressed up in a black suit and red tie with a violet inner shirt.
Yohan practically looked like a little rat in front of the gigantic assassin in front of him. Though he hated the idea of asking for an introduction, he still asked it in a tired tone.
"Who are you, now?"
The silver-haired assassin gave out a snarky smile, looking amused. His intention to beat the crap out of Yohan grew tenfold and his desire to see him covering and begging grew a hundredfold.
"If you ever heard of something like Ghost Whisperer, the immortal, the Rakshasa or something cringe like that... Then yeah... It's me. The Ghost Whispe—"
"Don't you fucking dare to try and copy my dialogue!"
