Chapter 22: Who Is She?

"What do you mean by that?"

If his sister was not human then what was she? Henry had never suspected Ricarda. But only one time. It was when she killed him. After she protected him, he suddenly started to like her despite the fact she killed him before.

"She is not human. Since you are not from this world you must have never heard about these things. So let me explain to you."

Killian looked at the encouraged little eyes of the child in front of him. It felt a little strange to talk about such important things with a child. But he was not a child anyway.

"There is a group of people we call blood healers. They are really rare to find. Most of the time you can find them only in auctions. They can be sold for unbelievable amounts of gold. Their worth never drops other than increasing. They are originally not humans even though they look the same as humans."

Killian stopped for a moment and scratched the head of his kitty.

"So you're telling me that Ricarda is a blood healer?"
