 Grandpa Wang was quick to respond to Jian Yu saying, "Girl, I didn't ask my question to demean you. You have been introduced as our grandson's girlfriend. I believe it's only natural for us to want to know more about you."

His answer was received with a number of different reactions by those at the table. Some like the Jun's were surprised, others like Chi Lian and her brothers were relieved.

"Sorry," Jian Yu replied while looking at grandpa Wang apologetically but bravely. "I have heard that your Wang family is picky when it comes to the family background of the spouses of their children. I overreacted in a moment of misjudgment and I apologize."
