Chapter 56: Rescue Mission[1].

Hidden by the darkness of the night, the team made their way through the village and headed to Wuxi's house.

One of the best parts about this village having an aging population was the fact that they went to bed early. This was partly due to the fear of being attacked by wild animals and partly due to the absence of modern entertainment resources like televisions, computers and lap tops. 

There was no electricity in this hidden village. It was probably because they did not want anybody calling the police.

As previously agreed, Chi Lian knocked thrice when she got to the door and whistled. 

The door was slowly opened immediately after that and grandma peeped outside. 

"Its me." Chi Lian whispered. 

Wuxi's grandma opened the door widely and allowed Chi Lian in. The body guards hid their bodies in different areas where darkness covered them.
