Chapter 46: Jun Muyang is a tease

"I can't believe you are leaving for an unplanned trip out of the blue when your in-laws are here. How are we supposed to face them?"

Mama Chi had been grumbling all morning about the lack of seriousness of her daughter. "What are you even going to do in that city on your own? You have a bodyguard but don't want her to with you. Who are you meeting?"

"It's for business mother, I will return as soon as possible and for the last time in the name of Buddha please stop calling Jun Muyang's family our in-laws." Chi Lian resisted the urge to roll her eyes for the fifth time as her mother helped her pack

"You said it would take up to two weeks if possible. Need I count two weeks for you in terms of days? That's forever in the eyes of a child. What about Mei-Mei?" Mama Chi ignored the complaint about the in-law part.

 Chi Lian wanted to pull her hair out and leave the bedroom as soon as possible. Her mother's non-stop bickering was sweet but kind of annoying.
