With his face distorted with rage, Aldric started towards the table where he cleared all the laboratory glassware with one sweep of his hand, relishing the shattering sound that echoed across the room. But even that was not enough to quell the shimmering fury inside of him hence Aldric went on a rampage, destroying every equipment in the lab until none was left standing. 

Aldric stood over the mess, his chest heaving as he sucked in breaths, his eyes swirling with darkness and his hands balled into a fist. He should have killed her! He was close to killing her! Why couldn't he kill her? She knows his secret now! Islinda has met his alter ego. And with this secret, she could ruin his life! Islinda could destroy everything that he has worked hard for.
