Chapter 92: The Day She Falls For Aldric

By the gods, it was a palace…. 

Islinda stared at the scene open-mouthed after she stepped out of the carriage. Aldric told her they were going to some party and while she had assumed it would be a noble Fae's home, the palace hadn't come close to her mind. 

The palace was located in a wooded area, giving it a mystical feel. Islinda noticed all the Fae loved nature, hence it wasn't surprising the forest stretched for miles and she would get lost if she wandered without her unfortunate company, Aldric. 

However, it didn't mean the building was primitive, because the palace was made with sparkling jewels, marble, and gold. The architecture was ornate and intricate, with pointed arches, high ceilings, and stained-glass windows. It looked like something out of a fantasy storybook. 

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Aldric appeared by her side, startling her.
