Of course, Aldric did not go searching for Islinda as he had claimed, rather he had a destination in mind: the market. To be honest, he had to thank Islinda for putting these new plans of his into perspective. 

He passed through the village and while people gave him a second look, no one approached him. Thanks to Remy, he has been socializing with the villagers, and for once, his good looks worked in his favor. Most of the women were smitten with his features and some even went ahead to pinch his cheeks - a move that would have gotten their hands cut off if he wasn't pretending. 

They swoon over him, wishing to have an adorable child like him. If only the stupid humans knew what they were wishing for. Humans had to be careful with what they prayed for, because if he was a Fae witch, that was a done deal. Thankfully, there were limits to his powers. He wasn't omnipotent. No Fae was.
