Chapter 39: A Deep Conversation

"I, Pierrot Smith, hereby challenge you to an honorable duel." 

His words echoed through the room, instantly silencing everyone present. The air seemed to freeze as Lucien and the other instructors tried to comprehend the gravity of the situation.

But before they could fully grasp Pierrot's words, Emilia's calm voice cut through the tension like a soothing melody. "I decline. Please take your gloves back," she calmly stated. With that, she gracefully picked up the gloves from the floor and handed them back to Pierrot.

"How impudent! Don't you understand that a knight is bound by honor and cannot simply refuse a duel without valid reasons." Pierrot shouted furiously, refusing to take his gloves back.
