Chapter 138: All tensed up
Both slept peacefully in each other's arms, Arthur had a smile on his face…
In the morning,
Arthur woke up and chuckled seeing Maria sleeping over him, her smooth hair spread all over his chest, a sheet covering her lower body exposing her smooth white back. he kissed her hair and hugged her feeling her soft skin he thought about last night, he couldn't believe they are finally one now.
He moved her hair to see her face and she moved and snuggled her face more into his chest making him widen his smile…
He felt his arms heavy and looked at his arm which was aching like hell and it suddenly reminded him of the attack on Maria and he frowned, he forgot about it in all this happiness…
He wanted to get up to find out who was behind it but seeing Maria sleep so peacefully he didn't have the heart to wake her up so he just lay there looking at her…
Time passed a little and Maria moved her hand over his chest and Maria felt the solid chest and she frowned and slowly opened her eyes and saw her lying over someone and she suddenly remembered last night and she blushed and slowly looked up praying that Arthur should be asleep.
Arthur felt her movements and seeing her move and press his chest and rub her more into him was making him excited but he controlled himself thinking there was work to be done and also his laughed and finally saw her slowly lift her head to look towards him…
Maria slowly looked up and she saw Arthur looking at her and she shyly hud her face making Arthur laugh, he pulled her up and kissed her softly on her lips and said ' Good morning my Queen'
Maria nuzzled her face in his neck and said in a sweet voice ' Good morning '
Arthur asked ' Is your leg alright?'
Maria nodded…
Arthur said ' Come On let's freshen up and have breakfast'
Maria nodded and got down trying to cover herself and on seeing it Arthur laughed and said ' I have tasted every inch of you Maria there's no use of hiding I have it all here' pointing it to his heart, Making Maria blush.
She just ran into the bathroom, Arthur went into a different room and took a shower his arm ached a lot but he ignored it and got dressed and came out…
Maria after taking a shower she came out and didn't know what to wear. She looked around the Wardrobe section and just found shirts and pants. She finally took out a white shirt and wore it as it was huge. It went till her mid-thigh and sleeves hiding her hands made her look cute….
Arthur after getting dressed went towards Maria and when he entered he was struck by lightning, Maria was drying her hair and in his white loose shirt she looked so stunning, he thought it was good that he forgot to order some dresses for her…
Maria looked at Arthur staring at him with wide eyes she blushed a little and said ' I didn't have anything else to wear'
Arthur said ' Very good'
Maria frowned hearing it, and Arthur shook his head and said ' Ohh, ya no problem come let's have breakfast, don't worry no one will be present '
Maria nodded and they both headed towards the dining room and sat down.
Maria looked around and said ' You have a beautiful place'
Arthur smiled and said ' It is also yours'
Maria blushed and started eating…
After having breakfast, Arthur said you have to rest at the office today, I have to take care of something.'' He introduced an old lady to Maria and said, ` She will take care of you.' Maria said, ' Wait, did you apply the ointment on your arm?'
Arthur looked at her and shook his, Maria said ' Where did you keep it I will help you dress it'
Arthur asked the lady to bring it and he unbuttoned his shirt and sat beside her…
Maria slowly cleaned the area with an alcoholic swipe and she hissed and Arthur chuckled and said ' Shouldn't it be me who should hiss in pain?'
Maria looked at him and said ' It must be painful na due to me'
Arthur looked at her and said ' No it was for me'
Maria looked at him in confusion and he said ' I was protecting my life'
Maria felt sweet in her heart and tears came out...
Arthur comforted her and after she bandaged him he buttoned his shirt and said goodbye and left…
He got in the car and made a call and then told the driver to take him to the place.
In a warehouse,
People were tied upside down and there was a strong smell of blood which would have a numbing effect on people there and they were screaming as they were being hit every few minutes…
They were asked questions constantly but except for groans, nothing could be heard from them…
Now they were waiting for Arthur to come and take care of them…
Arthur finally arrived and the door opened. He walked in and asked the guards ' Did they say the name ?'
They shook their heads...
Arthur looked at the people and then went near the Scarface and he hit him with an iron rod making him scream, he held his hair and said ' You will say and you have to'
He went towards his guards and said in low voice ' Bring all of their family members, especially the scar guy and check their call history'
They all nodded and Arthur said ' Don't stop your hitting' and left…
In a luxury office,
Francis was sitting tensely as he knew scar had gone to kill Maria but he didn't get any information about her till now.
Usually, as soon as the work is completed he calls for payment but he isn't picking up his call now what is going on…
