'As expected... How predictable.' Silas sneered at what he was seeing.

Grant was trying to frame him, and he was using the oldest trick in the book... Or at least that's what Silas considered it.

When seeing how Grant had reacted last time, Silas had thought through a few possibilities that might happen. They ranged from assassination attempts to the murder of those close to him, so he had placed down the appropriate measures to make sure that none of them would come to fruition.

Over the last few weeks, Silas had seen the aftermath of some of Grant's attempts, and if he were to be honest, they were not in the very least a pretty sit to behold.

Assassins from the Assassin's Guild were sent to kill him, however, since they couldn't really enter the city without a pass, they needed to wait until Silas left the city.
