Oriana was startled by Arlan's sudden intense actions. That kiss was so passionate that she could not resist it and could only try to keep up with the man who was trying to possess her. She was pushed back and had to support herself with her hand resting at the table top. 

With the sound of vase smashing, the attention of outside people was pulled towards their room. 

"That room, check there."

"Yes, my Lord," the two guards replied and their footsteps seemed to come closer. 

Arlan, oblivious to all this, lost in his own world, moved his attention to her slender and beautiful neck. The next moment he smelled her enticing scent as he inhaled deeply in the crook of her neck, his face gently rubbing against skin, he felt as if he was going to lose himself to the temptation.
