All three women at the table—and one man—had their heads craned off to the left where Ash stood, leaning casually on the bar, ordering for us.

"Your unexpected need for vacation suddenly makes a lot of sense," Kendra, my boss, and the only married woman at the table said with a sly smile.

The other two just nodded, their eyes never leaving Ash's back.

He was dressed in another hugging sweater tonight—dove gray and thin, it clung to his torso and shoulders because he wore nothing underneath it.

I was pretty sure he did that on purpose.

The jeans fit him perfectly of course, and the eyes of the women around me definitely didn't miss the way they hugged his ass and thighs.

I was frowning. Two weeks of watching Ash in the modern world was a trip. I still didn't know how to feel about it.
