Chapter 128: Getting swayed

In Howvale, the castle was back on its feet, order restored in the Kingdom. Several floors up the towering castle stood the Vampire king, Sebastian, staring down at the castle. His long black hair fell over his face, casting a dark shadow on his red eyes, his lips pursed in a small smile as he thought about the one thing remaining to adorn the palace, Evelyn.

As he watched, he saw the castle gates pull open, and a four-horse-drawn carriage rode in. Seeing the unique mark on the carriage that screamed Royalty, Sebastian smirked, knowing of one man who could boldly ride a royal carriage in his castle, a long-time friend. Holding the rails, Sebastian leaped from the balcony to the lower balcony, leaped again, and landed gracefully on his feet as the carriage was pulled to a stop.

The carriage door was opened before the coachman could get down from his seat. The person in the carriage stepped out, a man. Sebastian's smirk increased as he watched the person approach him.
