Chapter 53: Fishing out the intruders - Part one

His words were spoken in a smoky voice that made Eve's face burn. She dropped the box on the table and picked up the garter to feel the soft lace. In the center of the garter was delicate embroidery with sequins and a ribbon placed at the elastic band. It was a bold, feminine garment that had an alluring charm and it made Eve blush even more that Sebastian had gifted her this.

Without meeting his gaze, she said, "I-I don't know how it is worn." It could have been the most embarrassing thing a woman could say, but Eve didn't have the leisure of dressing in a truly feminine sense, and having no idea about the garter or how it was worn was justified. Sebastian was more than pleased that she didn't.

He raised his hand to her, and she gingerly dropped the lacy garment in his hand. "It's easy," he said, looking down at his palm. "You should sit on the bed, or would you prefer to stand?" He asked.
