Write a reviewOh! I so much love this book. it's inciting, thrilling annoying in a good way, and very addicting. I wish I could give it more than 5stars.
This is the book I can read and re-read. Excellent character development and powerful storytelling. The emotional dynamic between the two main characters is so intense and sizzling hot, which makes story more gut-wrenching at times. ❤️
So good. I binge read the whole thing in 3 days. I really enjoyed every second as well. The writing quality is top notch, the world is incredibly thought out but if you’re not familiar with cultivation novels I would suggest trying a lighter book before you get into this one, but DEFINITELY get into this one. The emotions that this invoked me with the constant suffering of my poor baby Jianyu were almost too much to bear, but it was all worth it to read this wonderful story, thank you author. If you’re thinking about reading this don’t be shy. This book is not your standard reincarnation/cultivation story it has so much more to it. It everything action, love, angst, Royal intrigue, hate, cultivation, gods, demons, misogyny… I could go on. Such a good book. Really good. On a final note Fengxi does not deserve Jianyu and I’ll stand on that and its why I’m not giving a 5/5 😤
I'm hooked 😁. I like how the writer build this story. The lore is established well and with such care. Instead of being lore-dumped at the beginning, the world is introduced *as needed* to the reader, so the reader know enough not to feel disconnected to the context, but not enough to feel like getting a history lesson. In a way, we learn about the world as Fengxi did, and it helps the reader to connect to main characters more. Character relationships are thankfully not rushed. The flow of the story so far (80 chapters in) unfolds in a balanced pace most of the time. The time skips can be a bit jarring, though, when it came to Wenyuan, as interaction with him is limited in exposure and just summed up to the pre-established lore, making connecting with him and his situation a bit hard (on top of the leads being interesting character already, lol). Also, this novel had the best translation I've read in here (pardon if this is not a translation) so far (at least in lgbt+ category). Barely any typos, weird grammar, or incorrect character ref which kinda bug me out when it happen too often within a chapter. So, I'm really enjoying my time reading. This is my first review ever, lol. Had to write it because this title deserve it 😁 for the amount of enjoyment I receive. I hope the quality stays until the end, or better yet, improves. Wish you all the best creator!
I’ve been binge reading this story for the last week and spent way too much to top up my coins so I could keep going (it was worth it!). I’m sad that it is almost over. I loved the characters and their growth. This story is well written with the perfect amount of romance, smut and angst. I’m excited to read more from this author.
I picked up this book not really knowing what to expect. I love slow burn novels because it really takes life experiences and relationships and gives us a close up of how time can change us and those around us. This novel does that and more, read 110 chapters in one sitting, unable to put it down. This book says it is a slow burn, but it isn’t; it is a pot of milk that got charred on the large stove, restored, and put back on the stove for a nice, gentle simmer! Enjoy!
This is one of the best stories I have read so far on WN. The writing quality is top notch, I truly can’t say enough about it. The author’s humor always finds a way to shine through to alleviate the tension. What I love most is the complexity of the characters and the layers upon layers of motivation. I love books where the good guys can be frustrating, and the bad guys can leave you feeling like you understand them even if you know they are wrong. That kind of nuance is what sets a great story apart from a good one. I adore Jianyu of course. And magical tigers? Count me in.
One of the saddest book I am reading currelntly. I cried in the first chapter because I was listening to a sad song. QAQ Yet, the story of Jianyu touched my heart. Also, his emotions are portrayed so vividly that I have to dab my eyes just like Lady Song everytime I read the next chapters. . Even though ZF has not done many bad deeds, but I hope just once he trip when he is practicing his spear. Tsk, our Jianyu is too good for You!! Be sure to make him happy I am watching! . Lastly, thank you Author for the masterpiece!
I'm currently eight chapters into this book, and I must say, "Wow!" This is the second work I've read by this author, and once again, they have managed to captivate my mind and hold my attention from the very beginning. The author's creations are true pieces of art, absolutely enthralling. From the captivating synopsis to the raw emotions portrayed by the characters, every aspect of the book is a sight to behold. Initially, the plot seemed a bit unusual, but the author skillfully unraveled it, providing clear explanations that made it easy to follow. The world background was portrayed with perfection, adding depth to the narrative.Kudos to the author for delivering such an interesting and well-crafted piece. Their ability to convey raw emotions and create a seamless, immersive experience is truly commendable. I find the storytelling to be not only engaging but also emotionally resonant. This author has once again proven their talent for weaving a compelling tale. I'm thoroughly impressed and eagerly looking forward to delving further into the story. Great work, indeed!👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
Yes it is a little good but I don't like the LGBTQ genre but that doesn't stop me from giving a good review. The main character has a lot of building but it was not too good and World Building 85% good. Just write more
Dance of the Dragons is a unique and fascinating book. The premise of the book is also great and well written, overall a BRILLIANT story and highly recommended. The book cover is also very enticing and highlights the aspect of the book immediately.
The Prologue/Introduction felt a bit long since it was a handful of chapters even though they are relatively short. But once the MC went to the past the story development has had a good pacing so far (26 chp at the moment).
The first chapter was a bombshell, i love the book, Its so exciting and interesting, im def read this[img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]
A guy giving birth😮... Mind-blowing!!! I can only imagine what Xie Jianyu went through, my goodness! Lu Shui sure knows how to explain things in details. When I read through some chapters, I couldn't stop😂 This book is way way different from others.
Transmigration? Omegaverse? And ENEMIES TO LOVERS!?? ALL MY FAVE TROPES IN ONE STORY? HOW COULD I MISS THIS? I'M SO EXCITED TO READ THIS ONE!
Dance of the Dragons is a captivating and imaginative work of fiction by Lu shui that seamlessly blends the ancient Chinese world of swords and magic with the intriguing and sensual world of Omegaverse. This is a unique and refreshing take on the Omegaverse genre, and Xing Liu has done an exceptional job of creating a world that is both fascinating and believable. The world-building in this book is exceptional, with rich and vivid descriptions that transport the reader to a magical world filled with danger, intrigue, and sensuality. The characters are well-developed, and the dynamics between the omegas, alphas, and betas are fascinating to explore. One of the things that sets Dance of the Dragons apart from other Omegaverse stories is the way that it blends traditional Chinese culture and mythology with the Omegaverse. This gives the story a unique flavor and adds depth and richness to the world-building. Even though the story has barely started, I sense an immense potential from it!! Overall, Dance of the Dragons is a must-read for fans of the Omegaverse genre and anyone who loves fantasy and adventure. Lu Shui has created a rich and immersive world filled with complex characters and thrilling action, and I can't wait to see where the story goes next.
Fifteen chapters in, time for this author to drop her review, mwahahahahahahcoughcoughcough. Okay. I started off my fanfic writing journey three years ago by writing danmei fanfics, so it is just a given to one day write my own danmei too. It just takes so long to fabricate the concept that it takes me so long to even start writing this story. Nevertheless, if you are a danmei fan in an ancient China setting, I recommend this novel to you. I hope you as a reader have as much fun reading this novel as I do writing it. If you have any questions about the novel, feel free to post comments and I will answer them all.
