Chapter 54: CH54:BLOOD CONTROL

"Say goodbye boy." The loud man quickly thrust the green, glowing sword to Ace's side but suddenly, he felt something else hitting the blade and causing it to go off target. Looking down, he saw a red sword, similar in shape to the one he was holding. Ace quickly and narrowly dodged getting his body pierced and stood in front of the two men.

He looked at OP1's sword and new of the strength it gave to him and then at OP2's crystal staff that was his blood mutant form's weakness. Checking his system panel, he saw that his energy was still high but his health points were what he needed to stock up on.

[Blood Consumed.]

[Blood Bank at 75%]

[Blood Mutant Form available to use.]

'Not now, system.' He said to himself. "I'm not yet strong enough to take on these two yet. Not with them having those weapons. I have to find a way to get me and Sky out of here.'

With Sky's cage behind him and the exit to the base being blocked by these two, Ace didn't have much of an escape plan other than get the girl and run. His level was too low for his sword to do anything, but as long as it looked dangerous to both men, he was glad he had some time to plot out a way of getting out.

"What's the matter, boy?" OP2 taunted. "Afraid to turn into that beast form again."

'That's it.' Ace chimmed.

[Partial transformation activated.]

Ace selected his arms and had them turned into their blood mutant form while slowly walking backwards towards Sky's cage. Still dazed, unconscious and mildly injured, she still laid on the ground motionless while breathing heavily for air.

Ace snuck a blood tentacle into the cage and tried gently shaking Sky so she could wake up. Alas, the girl didn't gain consciousness so he had to think of other alternatives.

"Enough of this." OP2 swung left and right, but missed each time thanks to Ace's reflexes. He then swung down and up but the boy successfully dodged again.

OP1 viciously swung his sword and easily broke the boy's blood sword into tiny red shattered blades. Ace quickly made another one, but yet again, they got snapped easily, leaving tiny, shattered pieces all over, but this was a part of his plan.

Once both men had their feet positioned right where he wanted them, Ace liquified the tiny shattered pieces into sticky blood that latched onto their feet and held them in place. He then quickly jumped onto the cage, split the bars open and headed inside.

"Not so FAST!!" OP1 stretched out a thick vine that dragged Ace out of the cage and back onto the ground. It then wrapped all around his body as it squeezed the life out of him. Ace's hands were tied. He couldn't use any skills and he couldn't control any blood without any of his hands.

"Lights out, demon boy." The loud man gave one final squeeze. Ace grunted so hard that the veins on his forehead begun bulging once more. OP1 and OP2 both knew where this would head, so they both swung their weapons for their heads and…

"What…..what's happening…to me…."

"My…my limbs….I've lost control of….my limbs….."

OP1 dropped to the ground, freeing Ace from his grip. OP2 tried his level best to keep control but an unknown force was pushing his body further towards the ground as Ace stood over him. His eyes glowed even brighter than ever and his anger was far more anything he had ever experienced and remembered.

It allows you to move your victim into whatever position or move you like as long as there is blood flowing in their body. This skill takes no energy and can be used for as long as possible.]

Without having to use his hands to control the men, Ace stood over both of them with his eyes practically shining at this time. He looked at the loud man's gauntlets and sword and said, "Those things belong to me. Bring them to me, NOW!!"

The loud, painful sounds of bones cracking could be heard as the loud man's body tore itself and moved against its will. He removed the gauntlets and together with the sword handed them over to Ace. The boy held them in his hands as three blood tentacles slowly slid into Sky's cage and gently lifted her onto his arms while the sword and gauntlets were put on his back. Ace lloked over at the second man and moved his neck sideways really fast, killing him on spot.

"Mercy, please. Don't kill me. I…I have children. I have a family. Spare me…" The loud man, who was at the mercy of Ace, pleaded with tears rolling down his eyes.

"I'd hate for your children to not have their father with them but…" Ace twisted his neck, causing the loud man to scream in extruciating pain. His lower back hurt to the point where he lost feeling to his legs permanently.

Ignoring the system, Ace moved on to find help for his injured friend. With the blood moon's effects, he transformed into his blood mutant form and leaped out from the base. Not knowing where else to go, especially at this hour, Ace just headed North away from the base and hopped to find a nearby city where he'd hopefully find people willing to help him…or waiting to hunt him for the bounty on his head.
