He suddenly realized that they were much closer to each other than before. So close that he could easily see individual eyelashes in Irmilla's eyes and speckles of green in the blue of her eyes.

He could see the slight glistening of her full lips and the pearl-white of teeth between them.

Arca's mouth ran dry, but that only urged him to speak more, pouring all there was in his heart.
