"I know too little about both of the rulers," Cael admitted. "If only there was more time to gather information… But both of them won't wait more than a few days. I also wonder if there's a way to really make it impossible to eavesdrop on us."
He and his companions gathered for a discussion in the captain's cabin of Sky High. It was just big enough room to fit everyone present comfortably over the square table, but not more.
Originally bare-bones, thanks to Mimi and Myrna's efforts, it was now made much cozier with rugs, pictures and trinkets. Niko's still used for his strange brews stood in the corner, but despite that, it was mostly used as a common room.
Ship was Niko's, but the mage eagerly relinquished responsibility for captaincy to anyone else. But since Sky High didn't need a big crew to steer it, the role of a captain was only in words, anyway.
This chapter run out of hand. I blame the fact that I didnt sleep properly for the past two days. Or maybe even three... My brain fucking deteriorates.
It's terrible.
I want to write more but keep reading instead...
