The dragon's eyes glowed with bright blue. Its howling stopped.
A droplet of cold sweat ran down Dante's temple.
Now… now he felt dread.
If a simple housewife, when possessed by a Starspawn, could kick a person into a wall and break their bones… What would a dragon be able to do?
Dante threw a glance at Ginevra. The smoke created by her blast dissipated, and he saw she was still lying down, overwhelmed by the possessed woman.
The woman herself looked like she was on the brink of death—but she wasn't there yet. Her body was mangled in many places, especially her lower stomach, but the energy pouring out of her was still powerful.
Then Dante had no time for thinking. The possessed dragon charged at him.
'Quick! Too quick!' was all that Dante could think before a paw smacked him away like an annoying fly.
I've been cruel to Ginevra in this arc... :<
