Chapter 165: Many-named, part 3

The False Cael lunged, throwing his fist at the real Cael's face with a shocking speed. Only the distance between the two of them let Cael block the blow with his arm. Even then, the force of the attack reverberated through his forearm. The Second Skin spell that protected Cael from damage shattered that instant.

Cael lifted his other hand to shoot a Frost Arrow at the False Cael's face, but the latter ducked and tried to grab Cael's neck.

There was too little space for retreating, and without enhancements, Cael was too slow. He stepped back from the grab and pulled his dagger on the creature, but it only slightly improved his chances. He turned on his System's battle mode and prepared for a tough fight.
