Chapter 79: Spider Queen

Ely traversed the dark forest by going in one direction. It didn't matter where she went because she needed to get out of the forbidden zone and use her teleportation crystal to regroup with her disciples.

However, she always ended up in the same spot from what she had been through. It was as if she had never gone away, but the nightmare demon's castle could no longer be seen.

'Am I lost? This forest is enveloped in an illusory array. I walked in circles and ended up at the starting point?' Ely observed the nearby tree and found the marked one. When she passed it a while ago, she left a marker, and it was the same tree.

Ely then tried to use her teleportation crystal, but it still couldn't be used. Telecommunication talisman also couldn't reach her disciples.

'This is very strange. I won't fall for trick or illusion, but some unknown variables mess with my sense of direction.' Ely muttered in her mind. She focused on her perception and eye abilities, then walked away.
