"Well, things have been crazy hectic." I laughed as I sat next to Lyssa and Alexa. They were spending a lot of time at home lately, specifically at Lyssa's home since she was the one that had a hard time walking around and moving.

"When isn't it?" Lyssa asked me, then immediately popped a French fry in her mouth. She was always eating now, but I chalked that up to the baby. I had seen my mom and Shawn do the same not that long ago. 

"Truth!" Alexa chuckled as she threw her head back in laughter. "I am not kidding, we're still young, and we've been through way too much already."

"Not so young." Lyssa countered. She was always trying to make herself sound older these days. And undoubtedly it had to do with becoming a mother at a young age. No one shamed her or made her feel bad about it though. It happens, especially when mated.
