Why was I an idiot? Well, this entire time I forgot that I had one very important lifeline. I had my phone. Michelle and the others didn't take it from me, and now I was out of time. I could have called someone, messaged them, something. But it was almost too late now.
Still, I reached into my pocket, pulling the phone from my jeans as hurriedly as I could. I knew who I needed to message, the only person that came to my mind in such a situation.
:Me:
Help! Kidnapped!
I literally had time to send two words before I heard the click of the trunk. That was all I was able to do, and I hoped it would be enough for them to send help for me. It was short, but it told him what had happened.

I wanted to thank you all for waiting patiently for the new chapters (though some might not have so patient LOL). I took some time off to rest, relax, spend time with the family, and to just overall heal myself. Last year was tough on me, and a lot happened for my family. We needed this time to bond and rebuild things for ourselves, and the holidays were the perfect time for doing just that.
Now that the holidays are over, and the kids went back to school, I am able to start posting again. I will be posting regularly, so you can check back for new contents often. Thank you again for bearing with me. I love and appreciate all of my readers, and I hope you will continue to stick with me in the future.
