Chapter 46: Unspoken Feeling

"Oh. He suddenly left, running through the forest. Before he ran away I accidentally touched his body and his temperature was high."

Uzana laughed out loud. "Gamaaloth never got sick for a dime like you weaklings. Ragnar can't have a fever!"

"But his body gives off a warm, fingernail-warm sensation. I'm afraid he has a fever due to the Trurian arrow wound infection. Can you help me check on your brother?"

"Oh." Uzana was silent as he stared at Sophia for a while. His eyes searched suspiciously.

After a few moments of observation, Uzana discovered the reason why Ragnar had suddenly run off to hide in the forest.

Sophia had barely been given time to slip into her thin nightgown before she was whisked away to the royal tent.

The dainty lace adorning the neckline of her gown was a delightful contrast to the regal collar that brought attention to her slender neck.
