Ying took the lead, and the rest of the players followed her as though she had become the unilateral leader of the group. It might have been due to her charisma or because she was the only one Shen Nianzu from Team 14 had spoken to. Whatever it was, Shen Nianzu and Gu Luoxin were more than content to trail behind the others. 

Now that they had exited the hospital's range, Shen Nianzu noticed that they were back in the familiar university corridors, albeit this time the space seemed to have grown larger, making it look like they were steadily inching closer to the core of the labyrinth. 

They did not have to fear getting lost, because on each fork, a sign had been left to inform them which way to take. Shen Nianzu surmised that it must be his future self who was paving the way for them.
