Chapter 304: Sub-Heroine [Sumire]

She heard someone approaching and immediately stopped wrestling with her skirt. Panic set in as she wondered what the passerby might think. If they had seen her struggling, they could easily misconstrue her actions—perhaps thinking she was masturbating or trying to relieve herself. She remained perfectly still, facing the wall, too afraid to turn and see who it was.

The footsteps paused nearby, causing her heart to race, but after a few agonizing seconds, they continued on. She exhaled deeply, realizing she had been holding her breath the entire time.
