Chapter 286: Reunion. Bai Shen-Blank God

"Khione!" Hearing a familiar voice calling her name with such passion in this deserted place, Khione swiftly turned her head around to take a look.

Barely believing her eyes, Khione chose to trust her senses. Her whole body shook when she saw Lux in the distance, waving his hand at her.

For a second, Khione thought everything she saw was a mirage, despite her senses taking on his familiar aura and capturing his entire being approaching.

"Lux…" She softly whispered when the young man was in front of her.

"It's me." Said Lux, a thing that Khione found more than welcoming before throwing herself into his arms.

"It's alright. I'm here now…I missed you." Lux's soft voice completely melted Khione and she just hugged him, tighter and tighter.

Their separation wasn't a long one, only around a week inside the Trial's time. But the events that happened were so many, and so intense, that Khione thought a few months had passed.
