Chapter 37: They Came

"I want you to marry me and go with me to a special place." After Khione said that, there was a pause.

Lux couldn't believe what he had just heard. Staying silent for a while, Lux finally decided to say something.

Opening his mouth, he could barely ask, "What did you say? Did you hit your head?"

Khione furiously blushed; Lux's words made her aware of how it sounded.

"It's not like that! I only need you to pretend. I should start from the beginning; please listen to me..."

Khione then began explaining to Lux what she actually meant with her words.

First of all, as she had said before, everything was supposed to be fake; this way, her family would agree to her entering inside their Legacy Land once again.

Every single member of their family had three chances in their life to enter the Legacy Land.
