Seymour had been busy the entire day and by the time all the preparations for the closing ceremony were done, it was sometime past midnight. He stared at the night sky and sighed lightly, his exhaustion from the day kicking in. He was worn out and only wanted to take a bath and sleep.
'Sylvaine must be asleep by now. Please forgive this old man of yours, dear. I could not accompany you for dinner.' He closed all the ledgers and cleared his table before he stood up.
"You look exhausted," Seymour heard Felix's voice out of nowhere, scaring the hell out of him and he dropped the ledgers in fright.
"Oh, Lord! Oh, Lord! Oh, Lord!" He took deep breaths to calm his agitated heart. "You scared me." He complained while Felix picked up the ledgers with a teasing smirk lingering on his lips.
