Chapter 10: What Happened To His Dungeon?

"Teleportation! Dungeon Teleportation! Home Dungeon Teleportation!"

He had his hand stretched out with his ominous looking grimoire floating by his side and the pages opened in between.

"i call on you, dungeon of destruction, heed my call this instant!".

His expression was very stern as he says out the word, expecting himself to be whisked away, only to end up not changing his spot nor the location.

Sango still kept on trying whatever he could, mentally opening several pages of the grimoire and casting whatever spells that has to do with spatial movements, all so he could get to his dungeon.

As an High ranker in the world of LORDS, Sango had a lair of his own, known as the Dungeon of destruction.

He wasn't the only one with a lair in LORDS, as it was the same for the other high rankers who had gotten to a stage where they were capable of leading.

In the world of LORDS, it was a necessity that an high ranker had a lair of their own, either in the form of dungeon, tower, labyrinth, and many more of such places where they could groom their own npc forces.

They had to be in the category of one, and the amount of room that can be added to their lair, is dependent on how the owner wants it.

One of the reason why having a lair was a necessary choice for rankers and high rankers alike, is because of the systematic programming of the nation in LORDS.

LORDS was programmed in a way that if a player makes an enemy of a nation, whenever he or she is faced against that nation's forces, the overall stats of the player decreases by thirty percent, and the forces of that nation, will have their overall stats raised by thirty percent.

This made it hard for the players who enjoy going solo to make an enemy of any nation, especially those nations with already strong forces and high military numbers.

To counter the system of the nation, LORDS executives gave the players a way out, a way that would involve them investing a massive amount of resources into creating their own lair and fostering their own personal npc forces.

It was an helpful strategy that help the solo players out whenever they get into a quarrel with the nations.

If the players stats gets decreased by thirty percent, the npc forces can cover for that loss with their own stats and numbers.

The level of the npc forces can be designated depending on the resources the player used in their creation.

They were some players who tried raiding their own created dungeons for experience, but it did not work out as they had intended.

Rather than gaining experience, all they had is loss of resources used in creating the characters in the lair.

Apparently, the owner of the dungeon will get no experience if they raid the dungeon, but the same could not be said for outside players who tries to raid the dungeon.

They were not restricted from raiding a dungeon owned by a player, and would also get experience from it when they kill one of the lair npc characters.

Being an high ranker, and an #1 high ranker, Sango had a lair of his own, in the form of a dungeon and named after his class.

That dungeon is what he has been trying to teleport himself over to, but has had no positive result so far.

He could think of two reasons as to why he is not able to get teleported inside the dungeon.

The first reason would be that, he had a restriction placed on the dungeon to prevent entrance through the use of teleportation or any other spatial movement from the outside of the dungeon into it.

The other reason, could be that the dungeon was not transported into this world along with him.

To bypass the teleportation rule placed on the dungeon, Sango has tried teleporting himself to a location outside of the dungeon, but he has had no luck.

He assumed that if the dungeon was indeed transported into this world, then perhaps the geographical location of the dungeon has changed from how it was, hence why the Teleportation did not work.

For Teleportation to carry out its effects, Sango needs to visualize where he wants to be teleported to, and if the location has changed, then there is no way for him to visualize what he has not seen.

Sango is now in a situation where he does not know what has become of his dungeon, if it is indeed in this world or not, and if it is, then where would it be in this vast unknown world?

"oh you are awake? That was faster than expected".

Sango halted what he was doing, and turned his attention over to Getha whose body he had laid to rest against one of the many trees in the forest.

He postponed the search of his dungeon to later, and decided on attending to her matter that is much more important.

"i.....i am....i am alive!"

Getha slowly stood up from where she sat, using the tree that was behind her as support to pick herself up.

She gazed her view above, and saw the whooshing of the tall trees, celebrating their moments of basking in the comfort of the sunlight.

"you are, and I need you to start spilling whatever it is you know about me, starting with how the statue of me came to be in your hands".

Sango's toned muscular, vibrant slimmed body was constantly getting beaten by the sun's ray as he had no clothes covering his upper body, and only a black pant on his lower body.

"my family, what about my family!".

Getha turned her head around several times, and saw that the cave or at least what was left of it, could be seen within view of her left, several walk away.

"they are all dead, and their remnants have been burned alive by the fire".

Sango's voice sounded unsympathetic and cold, like the voice he had used to ask her if she felt pain before she collapsed.
