Chapter 6: Chapter Six
Damn, this place is freaking me the hell out. Thankfully, Eve's company manages to calm me down slightly. Huh, isn't that ironic? Here, I'm scared shitless because of monsters, yet I'm being calmed down thanks to Eve, a monster.
Regardless of my fears, I have to move on. I take a deep breath, and slowly begin moving to check the area. Eve happily followed behind me, with no care in the world.
This place fucking reeked, of medicine, of blood. I thought the smell of blood alone will nauseate me, but this combo of smells is on a whole another level. Every few steps there was a bloodstain, and midway while searching the area, I threw a question to Eve in a weak voice, as weak as a whisper.
"Hey, the hell is all of this? Does your species just attack humans who refuse and tear them apart, or is this the work of other monsters?"
"Awoo..." She seemed to whine as she looked at the ground. Did they really do that? From what I know, only in extreme situations do monsters go on a rampage and kill humans, but this, and the streets, what is all of this?
"Did your species do it? As always, Bark once for yes, twice for no."
"Woof! Woof!" She also barked in a weak voice.
"No it is then. I'll trust you." Not like I have any other choice. She already helped me, so my trust in her has increased. Still, if it wasn't them, then what kind of monster does that?
"I'm not sure about your species, but what about the other ones in this building? Did they do that?"
"Woof! Woof!"
No? What? Then where the hell did these come from?
"Then who the hell did all of this...?" I muttered under my breath, not really a question towards Eve but to myself, but it seems Eve heard it. She tugged my pant and started to lightly scratch the ground with her claws, just low enough to barely make any noise.
"...?"
Eh? It looks like a number, like a number one. Oi oi, if I'm getting this right...
"Do you mean one monster did all of this?"
"Woof!"
Shit. I think I know who did it. In the game, there was a boss in this building that you had to beat, but from what I know, she didn't really kill humans. Ah damn, if it really is her, I'm screwed.
Thankfully, she resided on the top floor, so for now, I should be fine. Even in-game, she was strong. God knows how strong she is here.
But hell, what kind of a monster does things like this? Aren't they supposed to just suck them off? Why would she want to kill them?
Regardless, let's not think about it. Whatever her reason is, I'm gonna stay as far away as possible.
After a while, I noticed that Eve's movements become sluggish again, and had an expressionless look on her face, just like before.
Ah, it's that time again.
I let out a sigh and halted. She also stops as well, looking at me with her expressionless face. I crouch down to her level and pat her.
"Well, you helped me quite a lot back there." She tilted her head at what I said, "So... Haah" I run a hand through my hair, "I guess you deserve a reward."
I can't believe I'm willingly doing this, to a monster. But oh well, she is a good girl.
A small smile crept on her face, and as she was about to have her fun time, I stopped her.
"But!"
She paused and tilted her head towards me.
"Make it quick. We're not exactly in a good place right now, you can continue it when we get to a safe place."
She just kept looking at me. Oi, say something, you better be quick, damn it!
Her smile slowly widened, and immediately pounced on me.
Oi oi! No need to be this rough! I'm not going to do anything, damn it!
She gave me a deep, heavenly kiss. Her tongue was extremely versatile, causing her to explore every inch of my mouth. I felt my mind being eroded with pleasure, as my mind was going blank. Honestly, I wouldn't mind staying like this forever. Yeah, this doesn't sound-
No, wait! Shit! I can't let my mind dissolve into pleasure, otherwise, I might just straight up do it with her!
I need to focus, I need to focus-
"Hmfh?!"
I felt something touching my crotch, I glanced towards it, and sure enough, she was pushing her own towards mine, and, god, did it feel so...
Ahhh!
Damn it, come on and just finish this!

"Haaaah.... Ah...."
I stayed on the ground as Eve looked at me with a delighted expression. He kept licking my face as I continued to regain my senses, and sometimes, she kissed my neck.
"Stop..." I managed to let out, "It..."
She didn't take long with her kissing session, but this time, she rubbed her crotch against mine, and the added sensation really messed up with my brain. Shit, even now, I'm still occasionally thinking of doing it with her. I doubt I would be thinking this way if any other woman did this with me, but monsters, well, they are specifically made for this. And god damn it, are they good at it.
I slowly stood up and tried to regain my breath, my body was still shaking.
"...Hah... Better?"
"Woof!"
She barked, with her usual smile, and of course, tongue out.
"Then," I finally managed to regain my breath, "L-Let's go."

This place just doesn't end, does it? It's even larger than the previous floor! I checked multiple rooms till now, and most of them barely had anything note-worthy. All of them were in shambles, with almost everything in it being damaged. I even saw a metal door cleaved into tiny parts. I'll turn into a salad if that thing catches me.
Eventually, we reached a door that was surprisingly intact, but what tipped me off was the blood on the handle. I didn't immediately open the door, instead, I put my ear to the door, and held my breath.
*Pant* *Pant*
Soft pants could be heard, and they weren't like Eve. Now, there are two options, either it's a human or a monster. But the latter is not that dangerous, as not only do I have Eve with me, who I hope will help me, but from the pants, I could tell they weren't in a great shape. But still, will that be enough?
As I was complimenting what to do, the next thing I heard removed my worries.
"Shit..."
A voice, a male voice. I felt all my uncertainties disappear and gently grabbed the door handle. Of course, there's still the chance that something is there, maybe molesting the man, but if it was, I have my trusty gun to incapacitate them while they're distracted.
I opened the door slowly and poked my head through the door. Sure enough, there wasn't a monster, and even better, there was a human.
Except for one teeny tiny problem, he was injured. Really, really injured. To the point, I'm surprised he's even alive. This man had one of his legs cut off. Shit, fucking hell!
I entered the door rather quickly, my mind pretty much blanked out and the only thing that I had in my mind was to help him, even though it was pretty much impossible for him to survive with the blood loss. But before I could call out for him-
"DON'T FUCKING GET ANY CLOSER!"
He shouted with such fury that I worried over the fact that other monsters might have heard it, but what was even more worrying was that he pointed a gun towards me.
Shit, what the hell is wrong with this guy?!
No- What is wrong with me, too?
Even though my mind was blanked out, I slowly lowered my gaze to notice that I have pulled out my gun and aimed it at him as well. I don't even remember pulling it out, no, rather, it's as if I instinctively did it the moment I saw him pull out his gun.
"Don't you dare get any closer!" His hand was shaking, probably from blood loss, pain, and fear. I can tell, he was afraid. Not of me, but of Eve. It was obvious as he kept on glancing towards her with eyes full of both fear, and fury.
"You fucking demon meddlers, it's all your fault! D-Do you think I'm gonna let that thing get its way with me?!"
He kept on trying to shout, but due to the pain, his voice wasn't that loud, and a few times it seemed like he was on the verge of crying.
I didn't say anything for a while, we just stayed like this, pointing our guns at each other while Eve was growling. Her growling was horrifying, to be honest, not fitting her appearance.
After a while, I managed to calm down and managed finally focus once more. My mind isn't blank anymore.
We can't stay like this. The monsters could very well have heard us and are coming to us right now.
"Listen," I said in a calm tone, "I do not mean any harm. How about we put our guns down? If you shoot me, Eve will gobble you up. Probably."
The man's eyes were still on both of us, he could barely focus with the amount of fatigue and pain he's feeling.
"So how about we just stop now, and let us help each other? Other monsters could have heard us and could be coming to us as we speak. I promise you, I'm just as confused as you are."
To be honest, I didn't expect this to work, but surprisingly, it did. Perhaps because he thought he can't do anything about us, and maybe the blood loss is clogging his mind, he slowly lowered his gun.
"You- You aren't one of those people, are you?"
One of those people? Who the hell is he talking about... Oh! There was a certain group in the game that caused the apocalypse, they meddled and dealt with the monsters, and even tamed many of them to unleash chaos. No clue why, as I didn't finish the game.
"No, no I'm not." I lowered my gun as well, and Eve stopped growling once I patted her head. I went towards the man slowly and immediately crouched down to look at his injury.
Shit.
"What the fuck... is all of this?"
The man didn't answer, I could tell from his gaze that he still didn't fully trust me. Not that I blame him.
Maybe, just maybe, if I wasn't this late, I could've possibly bandaged it, and stopped him from bleeding out this much, but this...
I...
No, stay focused!
I immediately tore a huge portion of my shirt, and immediately tried to bandage it up. I had no antibiotics or alcohol with me, this room didn't look like it had any of that. It was a resting room, just like the one I used before.
Still, this should at the very least help him a bit, I have to finish this. I didn't look at the man directly, but from the corner of my eyes, I could tell, his gaze is slowly changing. From distrust, to a slight surprise, and finally, relief.
"You.. really aren't one of them... Thank god..." The man said weakly, "Don't- *pant* bother. I'm- I'm done for."
I ignored his request and continued my work. As if I could stop, do you have any idea what kind of person I am? Not really that great of a person, but fuck, I feel guilty easily!
Sure enough, in a few moments, I managed to bandage his wound up. The chances were slim for survival, but if it even could increase the chances by 1%, I'm happy.
"Hah..." The man glanced at the bandages, "You didn't have to do that..."
I simply shook my head at his response. To be honest, I'm not sure how I managed to stay calm a few moments ago when we were pointing our guns at each other. Perhaps because I saw the wound up close, and he was a human, it managed to fuck up my brain.
I could roughly guess that my eyes were full of worry as the man slightly waved his hand.
"Stop worrying, It's not like it's your fault."
I ran a hand through my hair and sat down near him. Fucking hell, I'm not good with this type of stuff!
The man glanced at Eve. I'm not sure what he's thinking, but I could roughly guess he's weirded out by Eve's behavior.
"How..." He panted, "did you do it?"
"...?"
"...That dog, how did you manage to tame it like that?"
I let out a sigh, and answered:
"...Beats me." I tried to act like I'm not that anxious.
"...?"
"I'm not sure why she's following me, either. But..." I glanced at Eve, her face filled with worry, both for me, since I suppose it was obvious that I'm anxious, and perhaps because of the man's injury. It seems she noticed he wasn't a bad guy, at least I hope so.
"She's company," I said, "Like a real dog, with the added advantage of her understanding me, and..." I trailed off as I turned my gaze towards her tongue, and then her breasts. Obviously, I didn't get any aroused in this situation.
A chuckle came from the man, and he threw something at me. It took me by surprise, and I managed to barely catch it.
...!
It's his gun!
"I don't know how the hell you managed t-to get in here..." He started, "Or why you're even here, but..." He looked at the bandages, "But at least you're not of those fuckers, a-and... you seem like a good kid. Y-you... probably are going to need this gun. It has 11 bullets..."
"I-I," I stuttered, I'm really not sure what to do now, "T-Thank you..."
He reached into his pocket and brought out what seemed like a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. He took out a cigarette, lit it, and took a deep breath. His eyes are still fixated on the bandages.
"But," he said weakly, "You didn't really help me with this, if anything, you just worsened the situation for me."
"W-What?! But, this should help with the bleedin-"
"Idiot," He blatantly said, although he had a small smile on his face, "This helps with the wound, for sure, but all it does is prolong my death."
What?
"That wretched snake messed me up, this isn't the only wound I have. Haah... Shit... Almost everyone else died." He took another puff, "So," he slowly exhaled, "I'm gonna... have to ask you for a troublesome request. My vision is already blurry, a-and... Haah... even now... when I speak... It hurts, a lot."
He slowly made a finger gun gesture, and pointed it at his head, "So, please, shoot me."
..
