Chapter 139: Exposed

After a few hours of hallow silence between the two, Arthur finally spoke. 

"You skipped your exam. Why?" he asked. "I thought you hated Sector 9, Miss Astelot." 

"Well, you fought against a divine hunter for me. I would be an asshole if I let you walk to your death," she answered, fighting hard to keep her nerves down. Right now, she was seated beside a person with the power to send this world to chaos. How was he even alive? Why didn't she sense any cursed energy come from him until today?

Arthur was still immobile, but at least the pain was fading away. His recovery was kicking in, though not effective, "Hehe…you're so kind. I know you have millions of questions. But I am going to answer one."

"Who is the girl to you, and how is she your sister?"
