Chapter 127: Nasty Thing

Morne sighed in relief as he rose to his full height, his wounds gone and his veins full nearly to bursting. The elf he had just sapped fell to the ground in a heap, but not before Morne snatched his spear.

The leaves falling from above were a great boon to the nearly dead Morne, turning the elf into a giant battery of life and blood that he could steal. Even though Morne was much larger than the green-skinned man, there had been so much that he couldn't get through all of it before he was back to peak condition.

He was happy to find that even after casting two Spells, the new one that increased his strength still hadn't stopped. This meant it was still eating his blood even now, but also that he wouldn't be restricted to just that Spell while it was active.
