Samantha laughed, enjoying the moment.

There was a sparkle in her eyes that made Clyde avoid her gaze. His eyes wandered to the floor in shame. If only the old him would've known the truth about the academy and her trump card.

'If the divine beings truly existed, then surely the academy or himself would never exist.'
