Chapter 162: Discovery

"What happened?" Philip frowned. He never expected Doug to be unconscious again. How many times had this happened tonight? He could no longer count.

Feeling reassured that Doug was alright and merely sleeping, Philip then focused on his duties as a mentalist.

Although the government had found a way to keep most people awake, there were still some exceptions, particularly the infants.

Fortunately, there were only a few of them, and even without the collectors and some empaths, they could still manage the job.

As Philip hopped from one house to another in his astral body, he arrived at a place he had been on the lookout for a while—the house of Maris' schoolmate, the one he suspected to be a soulless player.

Passing through the window, he entered the child's bedroom. No abnormalities were apparent; it seemed like a normal child's room. 

However, Philip noticed that the child's drawings on the wall were strangely dark and bizarre.
