Chapter 135: Citizens and Monsters

As Philip gazed out the window, he couldn't help but notice that the people strolling by seemed oblivious to the ominous dark clouds overhead. It was as if the impending danger was nothing more than a mere illusion.

Aware of the significance, Philip recalled the information he had received about the peculiar phenomenon: During the approach or presence of a monstrous wave, only those with a penchant for mentalism could perceive it.

Deciding to act, Philip left the ground floor, joining the other mentalists in the hotel. A subtle exchange of nods passed between them as they hurriedly retreated to their respective rooms.

Upon closing his door, Philip sank onto the bed and entered his consciousness space. There, he found Doug, gazing sadly at the small city he had painstakingly constructed. The lack of dream citizens migrating to their space seemed to weigh heavily on Doug's furry shoulders.
