Chapter 139: Chapter 133- Argument?

The family dinner lasted for an hour since more than eating everyone was busy chatting. Although Jin-Woo doesn't like to speak much, remaining silent here was not an option.

After finishing dinner at nearly seven, Haru and Jinah were chatting in the living room while the others were busy with their own work.

It was then, that Jinah told him about her skills development.

"I wanna show you how much I have gotten better in these months. Although I didn't practice daily, I was able to grasp the concept of my powers and after that, everything turned out very easy."

Haru raised his brows in pure admiration. He knew Jinah was a genius but for someone who had awakened less than a year ago, to actually comprehend the concept of mana and the magic-oriented skills....indeed, something worth being praised.

Haru thought for a moment before he asked, "Let's go and see how much you have progressed?"

Jinah's eyes sparkled in joy hearing that but soon panic replaced her excitement, "But you can't be seen in public...and if someone sees me with a stranger they might begin spreading false news. And I don't want that."

Haru chuckled hearing how cautious Jinah was, about them. Although Haru himself would be there with her, she didn't want a stranger's face flashing on the internet with her.

Haru was thinking of taking her to some indoor facility in a foreign lands while hiding their faces when suddenly, Jin-Woo suggested,

"I have a place in mind which cannot be reached by media or any other surveillance."

Cha Hae-In and Jin-Woo stood on the other side while adorning their jackets—signifying that they were ready to go somewhere.

"Going for a date?" Hae-In blushed a little hearing the straightforward question from Jinah.

However, she shook her head and told the girl, "We were heading out for a walk. Why don't you guys join as well? We can see Jinah's abilities altogether?"

Jinah glanced at Haru, seemingly asking whether he was okay with it.

Naturally, Haru didn't object and got up from his seat before offering his hand to Jinah.

"Let's go." Jinah smiled as she took his hand and instantly felt a warm coat draping over her shoulder. And not only her, Haru also had a hoodie on him which wasn't there a moment ago.

"...spatial magic?" Jin-Woo asked with his eyes narrowed.

However, Haru shook his head and vaguely responded, "More like...I made them?"

Cha Hae-In had a surprised look but she refrained her curiosity to be voiced out. Jin-Woo also looked taken aback by the disclosure but he also chose to not pry about it.

"Mom, we are heading out with Sunbae for a moment," Haru informed his mother as Jin-Woo opened a portal that would lead them to their destination.

"Alright, but return soon. Kuroi and Riko are coming, don't forget."

Haru snickered, "Why do I need to meet that brat."

Jinah pinched Haru's wrist in complain as she said, "Don't be like that, Haru. Riko and Kuroi-ssi were very worried about you."

Cha Hae-In didn't voice it out but looking at her nodding her head, Haru discerned she had similar thoughts.

"Geez, okay. I will return soon. Happy?"

Yumiko smiled before nodding to her obedient child~

The place where Jin-Woo brought them was a barren land with only a single building in sight, and that was a fort.

The clearing was huge enough to allow hundreds of shadow soldiers to battle.

Jin-Woo seldom comes here to train with his soldiers and let them burn their passion through battle.

"Woah...the sky looks so pretty," Jinah exclaimed with her eyes sparkling.

"Indeed." Cha Hae-In joined the girl and spoke in a content tone. She has come here in the past as well, and the starry sky always remains her favorite part of the trip.

Haru scanned the place and found there was no populace anywhere around the area. Only after seven hundred kilometers, some small towns were located.

"Have you formed hideouts at places like these?" As Jin-Woo approached him, Haru asked with his brows raised.

"Not too many. Just need to relax some time."

"Hmm~well, it certainly seems a land ruled by a Monarch." With his gaze affixed on the fort, Haru commented.

Jin-Woo sighed in slight exasperation and embarrassment as he saw that cheeky smile on Haru's lips.

[As I said, my lord, this fort signifies your greatness and majesty.]

Hearing Beru's words made him more so annoyed as Jin-Woo rubbed the bridge of his nose

"Let's just not talk about that."

Haru grinned but didn't tease his senior anymore. More like, Haru's attention turned towards Jinah who had returned to his side.

"This place looks cool, Haru. In the future, we should settle in a place like this after marriage." Jinah spoke in an excited tone, already imagining the future where she, Haru, and her small children would live in a small house, by the countryside.

So peaceful.

"We still have to talk about that marriage part, Jinah." However, her dreams were put to a halt by her Oppa's comment as he sternly looked at the duo.

"What do we need to talk about? I am going to get married to Haru." Jinah protested, already planning her wedding venue after Haru publicly confessed his intention to marry her after school graduation.

Although it didn't seem anyone took it seriously, Jinah knew Haru would do as he said. He could never joke about things related to her.

"And what about my or our parent's consent? You don't care about it?" Jin-Woo asked with a slight tilt of his head.

"I know they will agree. It's just you Oppa, who is being a prick!" Jinah flared back with her eyes turning moist a little.

Seeing those tears, Haru intervened, "Sunbae...please cease your teasing already."

"Yes, Jin-Woo. Enough with that. Can't you see, Jinah is taking your words seriously?"

Jinah blinked in surprise hearing them...only to realize that she was being made fun of.

Seeing her brother grinning like a fool, she balled her fist and lifted her Oppa with Telekinesis before throwing him up toward the starry sky.

"Oppa, you idiot!"

Seeing the disappearing figure of Jin-Woo, Haru whistled in admiration.

"You sure have gotten strong Jinah."

A/N:- If you are wondering, then yes, Jin-Woo intentionally allowed himself to get thrown away.
