He could not sleep.
He slipped quietly out of bed throwing his shirt over his shoulders. He glanced toward the black-haired man lying in the bedclothes and felt a sting in his heart.
God, how did all this happen?
Well, how?
He had come to Norway, to the Lofoten Islands, to show the man he loves more than life, a part of his past. The part filled with loneliness after his mother died and his father always chose work over family. Always. Gustav wanted to show David where that loneliness was from in his heart, and that now that he had bonded with him, it was only a memory. Thanks to David. Thanks to the fact that he didn't judge him, didn't reject him then when Gustav behaved like an asshole. That he gave him a chance, despite his stumbles. All of this bore fruit, and thanks to David, Gustav was finally happy.
So how on earth did this awful situation happen?
