Chapter 77: Responsibility

The loud thud drew Elder Saintess Nv Wa, Chronos, TaoTie, and the rest of the Royal kids to the room.

They found Megaera collapsed on the floor, and the air was still thick and cold. But the lingering stench of death had vanished.

The five cadets, who had been convulsing and screaming in pain earlier, now lay silently in their futuristic medical pods.

TaoTie immediately ran to Megaera's side,

"Meg! Wake up!! Say something!! Are you okay… Someone save her!!"

A beam of brownish-green dimensional energy shot out Elder Saintess Nv Wa's hand and drew Megaera toward her.

"Don't worry," she said softly.

"She's just asleep. It's been an extremely tough day for her. Bring her back to her room, and she'll be fine after a good rest."

After quickly scanning the Medic Bay, she then turned to Chronos and Royal kids,

"I'm sure I don't have to remind you to keep all this to yourselves," she said.
