Chapter 165: A Cold Brush With Death

Torrents of mana flowed in from all corners of the room, spilling in great waves into the injured white-haired boy sitting in the hospital bed. 

A fierce wind blew inwards, influenced by the mana vortex's suction force.

While highly disrupted, the torrents weren't enough to send anything flying.

Instead, they created a state of unrest that demanded attention from anyone around. The closer to the boy the mana was, the brighter it shone, creating spiral waves that swirled around him and into his chest, finally resting within the depths of his gluttonous core.

The deputy headmaster lifted his sleeve to reveal silver gauntlets, however, before he could touch them, a hand gently squeezed his shoulder.

Looking behind, he noticed an old grey-haired man with frosty blue eyes standing behind him.

Headmaster Frost shook his head gently, "This is only but a tremor. Besides, I think he's about done."
