Chapter 111: Pothole

"Trevor… Trevor!" Gray called out, "Cinders!"

"What did we hit?" Miranda called out from the backseats, rubbing her messy mop of black hair at the pain of hitting the ceiling.

Arthur unbuckled his seatbelt and threw the door open to let in some air.

The situation was not looking too well. Miranda had a trickle of blood coming down her forehead from her dark hair but looked fine.

Colton was knocked out cold, but being the one in the middle of Arthur and Miranda, he was unharmed, "What gives, Snowball! You're not even injured."

A loud snore roared in response.

Colton had fallen asleep long before the Cadillac nearly crashed… and continued to do so afterwards as though nothing had happened.

Thankfully, the powerful vehicle had kept all four wheels firmly on the ground and not made any turns, instead skidding out of control and ramming its side into a tree.
