Tom looked at himself in the mirror, the fact that clothes make the man seemed true as he looked at himself.
The staff that was standing beside him was also star-struck as she looked at him, when Tom had entered the clothing store, She felt that although Tom was handsome, he wasn't something special
Though when Tom insisted on wearing their top-of-the-line suit even after she told him of the exorbitant price, he still urged her.
The staff understood that she had landed upon a good customer, the moment Tom stood in front of the mirror, the staff became completely stupefied as she looked at him.
Tom exited the store still wearing the suit he had put on, since it was time for him to attend Tony's party, he wouldn't miss it, seeing the two Iron Men fighting was an awesome sight to behold, it was every man's dream to be able to wield mechs.
"Wonder if I can get Tony to build me a mech, or maybe I can summon one through the gacha," Tom thought as he looked at the gacha interface, he was still far from the goal of a 100,000 GP and probably wouldn't be able to achieve it fast enough.
After driving for a while, Tom finally arrived at Tony's place where the party was being held, fixing his clothes one more time, he finally arrived at the venue and parked the car.
After a few security checks by the security and recognition by Jarvis himself, Tom was allowed in, as soon as he stepped in, he was assaulted by the wild party music, it seemed that Tony hadn't arrived yet.
Tom felt like an idiot as he saw everyone wearing party clothes, he mentally sighed, even knowing what was happening he still arrived in formal wear.
To drink away his sorrows, he took a drink, and another and then another, not soon after a woman wearing an office outfit with wavy red hair arrived as she looked at him.
"Hi," she said with a smile.
Tom instantly recognised this beauty, how couldn't he, she was right there with mommy Olsen on his list.
Though Tom had long realized that this was the real world and he wasn't playing games, he knew the woman in front of him was a spy from SHIELD sent to observe and report about Tony
Tom had half expected SHIELD to send Nat after him rather than Tony but it was alright, he has grown fond of the guy and likes his guts.
Especially when he 'died' in the Helicarrier while sending the god of mischief through the wall.
"My name is Natalie.."
Tom got to know about Nat or atleast what she had as an alibi while working for Tony, he didn't expect her to come clean to him, perhaps she already knew about him or maybe she was not in the know and was just observing him because he was a shareholder of Tony's company.
In other words, she was doing a profile check on him, Tom also talked for a while with her until she had to go for some reason.
Nat excused herself as Tom went back to drinking, he felt that his metabolism had increased by a huge margin as he was able to take in vast amounts of alcohol without a problem.
After a few minutes Tony, the guest of honor arrived and started showing off his armor while performing tricks for the people below.
Tom couldn't believe this same guy would someday be willing enough to sacrifice himself.

The moment of truth finally came as Rhodes arrived with his own suit equipped and was able to get everyone to leave like they were being chased by the zombies.
The two started fighting not noticing the human who was watching the two of them fight with a popcorn and a soda in his hands.
"I take it back! This is far better than seeing it on a cinema screen or whatever, I wonder what it will be like when they fight that guy called whiplash or something," Tom spoke to himself as he took a sip of his cola.
Soon enough the fight ended with Rhodes flying away in his suit while Tony just laid there.
Tom also patted his thighs as he stood up to leave.
"Hey! Isn't it polite to atleast help after you are done watching," Tony yelled out as Tom also turned around.
"Hmm, not really, you just ruined one of my first high class parties, I think I am scarred for life."
"… is that so! I am sure I saw someone casually enjoying popcorn as he saw two literal Iron armored guys have a fight," Tony quipped back.
Tom chuckled as he walked back to Tony who was lying on the floor, perhaps due to some butterfly effect his suit had stopped functioning or whatever.
"What's your name?" Tony asked.
"Tom Warden,"
"I don't remember inviting a Tom, dick or Harry."
"I don't remember how that has anything to do with me helping you."
Both of them looked at each other as the Iron Man mask came off.
Tom could vaguely see dark lines under Tony's pale face.
