{I f***d up, right?} Sin's last thought was this as he found himself unable to think the next moment.

Swish-!

Slap-!

A loud slapping voice echoed through the air as Captain Veronica's hand connected with Sin's cheek. 

"Ptui-!"

The force of the slap sent Sin flying backward at a fast speed. Sin stumbled, his body losing balance, and crashed onto the ground a few feet away. The impact left him dazed and disoriented, his cheek stinging with pain.

Captain Veronica stood there, her eyes filled with a mix of anger, disappointment, and a hint of satisfaction. She watched as Sin lay on the ground, his expression a mixture of shock and disbelief.

"You thought you could deceive me again, Sin?" Captain Veronica's voice was laced with a cold fury. "You underestimate me, you fool."
