Need A Governess

"Is that all you wanted?" Cassey smiled  and nodded, making the woman flush.

The girl did not like this customer at the start but looking at her vast knowledge about books and how she was well versed, her judgment changed.

Even if she was not a rich woman, she was an educated one that was rare among commoners.

Not only that, she had good eyes for books. As a booklover herself, the sales woman felt affinity to Cassey.

She helped her happily as they selected books giving advice when needed. They have selected six books together.

And though it was Cassey who was purchasing them, Dora felt accomplished.

"You know these days only snobs come here. They have so much money to spend but they never know what book they should have. That is why we have been so cold recently." she sighed and explained their rude behavior or Cassey. Though the girl had said nothing, it was improbable that she had not noticed it.
