Books Were Stolen

It took Cassey a second to realize that she was being called. It had been months since her name was changed to Sia. yet it felt so unfamiliar.

Her hair, her look, her name everything has been changed. Yet.. she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Why are you wasting your time here? You must return and bring the medicine back or the man would brand us a thief. I will go and sell the ring. The money would be enough to bring a lot of things." she grinned as if she could already see herself shopping here and there.

Tavern shook his head. An unconscious smile danced on his face as he knew how much she loved shopping. He had seen her eyes brightening whenever she haggle with shopkeepers.

It was to the limit that many look away when she visits them these days. 

"Will you be alright if you go alone?" As if remembering that he was still not comfortable around humans, she raised her head and stared at him with worry, when he laughed.
